Just some pic from the day, wont work on it for the next few weeks because i'll be busy, only thing left to do on the frame is give it a good wire wheeling and that some god paint. Then i'll start working on the body, and make the body mounts once the body is done and mocked up on the frame rails1991 YJ, 1 tons, locked, lots o armor, stretched, cage

I threw out the old skid plate, and ordered the 2" drop one from Barnes4wd, just to easy for $120. The rails are clean and painted with the drivetrain just sitting on a strap for now. I'm going to cut off the extra plating JEEP put on the frame rails for the skid to mount to because it's bolt holes are pulled down some, and replace it with some 1/4 tube, in the same style with holes and nuts welded to the inside. Also got the body mostly apart, and started welding is some braces to keep the body straight when i cut the flood boards out.
Here is how she sits now, but covered up outside while i'm not working on her.
And a NCO im my platoon's little girl asked him to take pics everywhere he goes with "FLAT STANLEY" so though i would share it too.

So go to the shop after school today, cut out the old factory frame sleeve for the stock skid, made up new sleeves, and got the new skid tacked to the sleeves to drill holes.
Tomorrow i'll weld nuts to the back and then bolt everything together and fully weld the new sleeves to the frame
BTW the Barnes4WD skids are super beef, it would prob cost more than it's price to buy the metal, cut it out and have it bent. Likin this company1991 YJ, 1 tons, locked, lots o armor, stretched, cage

This past friday finished the skid mount, fully welded the nuts on the inside of the frame so they will never spin, got everything in place and burned it together. Didnt have a lot of time because i need to leave for a friends house that night. Went to Punkin Chunkin the next day but failed to take any pictures.
This one was done upside down, on the bottom side of the frame rail
She's a smoker... i'm tryin to get her to kick it
Over the whole frame and everything i've done, i've just thrown on shity rustoleum until it's done and i can put 2 part on her1991 YJ, 1 tons, locked, lots o armor, stretched, cage
