  • i've wheeled this set-up i little but not to much just because i've been at college and in the military, mostly on local private property, but enough to break stuff. I'm getting a decent amount of axle wrap in the front, and the rear does way more work than front. i'm going to use coilovers or airshocks haven't decided yet

    • Just sold everything from my front end. Leaf springs hydro ram shackles drive shaft tie rod. After I get the money and ship everyhing out. I'll be buying a New double ended ram, and everything else for the new front set-up and I'm making a tube bender. I just finished all my catia models to be cut out in a cnc mill and I'll buy a pro tools die.

                • ok so i've been getting frusturated with my roll cage. It was never tired into my frame, it didn;t fit quite right and it was to far angled forward so there was an opening between my windshield and doors, and last it had little triangulation. all of this happened because i had to rush it because it was a school project.
                  time to fix this crap

i havent decided yet weather i want to completely weld it in or make plates and bolt it in

here's some pic's, first of one of my welds....there definitly getting better, and just some shots of the cage welded together waiting for sunlight and paint tomarrow

                          • so i've been on military orders for a couple weeks and have been trying to figure out how to lower my jeep to make it more stable and drivable on the road. Grant and I worked on the rear and cut the shackle mounts off the BTF stretch kit i bought awhile ago and i welded them upside down and flipped the boom shackles around to make it work. i think it came down 3-3 1/2 inches. we'll tackle the front tomarrow

I'll get pics of how much lower it is tomarrow when theres some light

                            • The now about 3 inches lower jeep.

Today I'm welding on beadlocks for the 2 front rims and maybe an inner ring to hold the inside bead
