sam, are you getting the oil pressure based on the dash gauge? I had a problem with my 97 reading low on the dash, so I changed the oil pressure sending unit, still was low, so I hooked up a mechanical gauge and it just was the actual dash gauged broken, the mechanical gauge rode about 20 psi higher.

ima put a real guage in this bitch before i figure anything out.
the jeep was fine for about 60 miles last night
then today i started getting what i can best describe as "torque converter chatter"
its a vibration/chattery noise coming from the bell housing and its getting worse.
happens at certain rpm's sitting, and under certain loads while driving (lugging the engine for the most part)
torque converter bolts are all tight.
i did swap in the converter from a 96 with 60k miles
the internets dont say anything about this being a common problem
so this could be fun

just installed the monte carlo rear calipers because im sick of the eldorado calipers and having a useless e-brake. all 4 35" km2's at 25 psi now lock right up on dry pavement at 70 mph with minimal brake pedal input. it' stops like any normal car, its amazing.
i need to get to the welding shop monday to fix mah welder, then i shall modify my tnt belly pan to my liking.
other things i might get around to before the comp (6 days)
bend trackbar so it dont hit mah dana44
bumpstops
eat a few cheeseburgers
rear recovery point (yea i kinda need that don't i?)
finish up the front crossmember
