just upgraded from yukon super joints to spicer 5-760's

full circle clips

im staying on 35's with these bitches in there

i can see why one would be shot. one of the grease fittings was missing since the last time i greased em' (before i pulled em out of the white jeep)

but its not like normal u joint wear where they flop side to side. its almost like the ears on the shafts were stretched, but they werent. and the u joint would go up and down in the caps.

the o rings were also flattened

So it sounds like the fact they don't use needle bearings wasn't even the issue?

Any plans in the future to use a different set of dookin joints?

yukon super joints are supposed to be strong as balls

but require high maintenance i suppose

i would grease them after every wheeling run

and you gotta use that special marine grade copper grease that yukon sells for an ungodly amount of money

The superjoints use a specific grease gun that yukon sells IIRC.
