i know.... i know. ALSO this was the first time I have ever been hassled about my tires sticking out.... he said they shouldn't be more than an inch or two but couldn't tell me the real law.... "I could give you a ticket for each one of these tires" he says. I hate cops, but I got off 'easy' apparently

So I'm trying to get to the RC run. what do I armor first? sliders? gas tank? bumpers? side armor? so much armor to build so little time! I'm thinkin sliders first, possibly buy a gas tank skid.

Sliders gas tank t case. you will hate your self in the future if you trash the rockers, especially if you cant even cut them to put steel box in.

BTW, the dent in the drivers side rocker was there before i bought the jeep thats not from me.

The gas tank skid you can most likely get one at a u pull from a stock jeep, thats all i ever had and it was only $10.

T case, just be careful and use spotters.

I always used my sliders when wheeling long before i used my gas tank skid or t case skid.

tcase first. If you smash that bitch you'll be hating life.

its only a 242 that he hates any way so who cares if he smashes it.

T case is important, but i would not think lightly on the thought of a set of sliders.

Forgot to mention I will be reinstalling my trusty rusty's 242 skid.... even though it robs me unnecessarily of an inch or two of clearance. If I can find find a gas tank skid in the yard I'll deff pick one up. I need to go fender/header panel hunting anyways.
Soooo Looks like the first project will be sliders....... as high clearance as possible.
