  • Project, Mean Green '98

soo I finally got my New Jeep home a couple weekends ago. Purchased this from Kyle a couple months ago and just made the 725 mile round trip to Manchester NH and back to trailer it home.

I've been working on taking parts of my '93 got all the skids, springs, tow hooks, axles and radiator.

    New Jeep Needs:
    front Cowl
    Front Fenders
    Transfer Case

don't have many pics right now, will try to get my hands on a camera.
The Plan is to put my 3" springs under it with new 1" shackles and 1" spacers. I have RE uppers and lowers from a buddy to go under it, and longer shocks I got from Corey, and rock my 33's. Along with my skids. I'd like to build some new sliders and bumpers as I have more money for metal, but right now I'm just trying to get it rolling under it's own power

Kevin you need to go to walmart and get yourself a cheap shitty digital camera.

Anyway, i'm going to be home on the 19th if you want to pick me up in binghamton we can go right to the pick and pull.

gonna try to get a 231 tomorrow morning at Vanerbone's, got the radiator in and have been playing with the remote start. I love the way it sounds!! Kyle thanks for the airbag, probably gonna need that for inspection. Transferred my plates and insurance to the new Jeep, old red served me well for 4 years

Alex C bought the fenders and header panel. But kevin does have the front bushwacker flares to match the rears.

Those parts were stripped off it the same day i got home from my last wheeling trip.

so, I'm getting a little sick of fucking around at the junkyard and getting no where, and I think it's time to just get this thing rolling with what I've got.
-Correct me if I'm wrong but the 242 out of my '93 will bolt up to my tranny right?
                          -Shackles are in the mail.
-bought some flat black paint today to do the header panel and fenders off the '93 just to run for now till I can afford or find newer parts later.

A buncha guys from aroud here are heading to RC this weekend, and tho I'd love to go I'm still shooting for making to SIS ER II
