Not a big update and my pics suck. It was dark but I wanted to at least show what I got done tonight. I didnt have much time so I worked until it got dark.





I ordered the heim to replace the upper link bushing today too. Once that is in I can fix the castor/pinion angle.
I just need to grab some grade 8 hardware for the steering and finish weld and paint it.

What kind of pitman arm is that?

I think its a rustys, not sure how much drop, it was on the jeep when I bought it with the original rustys 6.5" lift.
I left room to run a waggy pitman arm. But I am like 1/16" away from both steering stops anyway. I have to check it at droop, I probably loose some angle. Once I check Ill see if I need a new arm

It should be. I'll be away all Saturday, but as usual ill be down for a Sunday run. Gonna drive it a little this week hooefully, that is as soon as FedEx shows up.

Well today was counter productive. I took it down the road for the first time, drove great but I hadnt actually done the alignment. So I decided it was easy enough I would take care of it and maybe drive it tomorrow.
So I start to set the toe, and one of the rod ends siezes up, I try to turn it back, and nope, wont turn. So I put my 24" pipe wrench on it and stand on it, nope. So I put the floor jack under it and try to get the end out and nope.
This is what happened.





So I have another end coming. I messaged Dan at Ruff stuff too and asked him if he'd ever seen such a thing. He said to give him a call and they would replace it. Cant ask for more than that. So Ill call him tomorrow.
Since I had nothing else to do I decided to retrim the fenders again. The tires hit them still.
