Well went wheeling this past weekend on some new local trails and found a good spot to flex and a nice little rocky hill climb. Here's the flex shots and hopefully wrpoole will see this and post the video of the hill.

Now it may not look like much but in person it's different, each one of those spots my stuttered tires are on are about 17 inches higher than the drooped out tires.

Fwiw Fox 2.0's and bilstein 5160's aren't even in the same catagory, 2.0's are rebuildable and I'm pretty sure the 5160's aren't. For the money I would go either FOA's or bilstein 5150's, FOA's are about the most reasable priced rebuildable shock you can get, If you want a rebuildable bilstein you'd be looking at the 7100's and up.

Ahhhh... well thank you, I haven't looked into the higher end shocks that much. I've spent more time on trying to figure out better geometry for the shocks. Those are on there from when I first heard about each of them and I didn't know were I was going with the build.

Installed the electric fan and took off the clutch fan. Had to make up some spacers or of PVC and also modify the grill a little bit to mount it. It would have been mounted behind the radiator but the super cooling radiator and the engine angle being changed after doing the t case tuck the fans would not fit. So we just moved it to the front and made mounts.

            Test fitting

All buttoned up and the clutch fan removed. Gonna help with power considering it will take some of the drag off the belt and let the engine spin easier.

New update. Added a steering stabilizer off front axle skid, 3" LED autozone lights and did the MAF intake tube upgrade with autozone cloth element cleaner and sock. Pics soon.

                Here's the pictures.

Here's the 3" LEDs didn't have to pay for them they were given to me.

Also did the MAF intake swap, which I've heard was better flowing and a cheap upgrade for the motors without it and I did feel the small difference none of the 50 billion horse Honda bullshit I also used a cloth element autozone air cleaner and also took a page from the Harley guys and used a leg off some pantyhose as a filter sock instead of spending a ton of money on a real air cleaner sock so I'll try the sexy pantyhose swag.

Also finally put my steering stabilizer on. I removed it off the bronco originally because the steering link mounts wouldn't fit around the upgraded steering. But I remounted it in a better spot and made u bolts out of 1/4 inch threaded rod.

Oh of coarse. So much power that my hood can't contain it, it blew open on me this morning. So hood pins this coming week.

                    • Ok so this update will come in chronological order. Hood pins due to my hoods failure to remain closed.

Next was fender trimming for the front finally.

The key to trimming these things are to use a relief cuts and use the inner fender wall as a way to hold up the plastic wheel wells.

Next up was a bigger air filter considering the cone filter was 10 c.i. to small after doing the C.I. to max power RPM equation. So I picked up a filter that would be much better suited for my motor. And also as depicted I just installed a dual battery setup. And a little bit of the hood pin setup is shown.

                          • Time for a change of looks

Put the new doors on. Hit it with some heat and the DA to get the factory stickers off and get off the crap paint. Then taped it up.

Removed mirrors, antenna, winch, grill and tail lights.

And now time for the new suit.

Pics of the truck all together later.

                            • Well I wish I had some baddass shots of the truck before tonight to show off how awesome it was but not so much. Went out tonight for the first time wheeling with new paint and scratched the hell outta it and ended up muffin shit up. Broke the left front marker light lens, bent the drivers side fender up, broke a shock mount and dented the bed on the passengerside.

                              • Picture time.

Heres the truck before the wheeling damage.

Notice the bed side is straight

And the fender and marker light are ok.

                                Now for the damage pic's
