I just went for a 3 hour ride. First time ive been on my bike since last summer. I am so sore but i feel great at the same time. I did a total of about 8 miles mainly inclines and some short trail rides around the local lake where my friend met up with me with his specialized enduro.

I am going to try and go for at least a 3 mile ride every day or go to the gym every day until my wedding on may first so i might drop some weight before the wedding.

    EDIT:

Just went to look at my bike and my front tire was flat. Apparently i made a tear in the paper thin side walls of my IRC Mythos tires. There was a small leak in the tube and a nice cut in the side wall. IRC tires must be made my Pro Comp.

Since i am going to be doing mainly Urban riding and hard pack more so then trails this summer i just ordered a set of Maxxis Hookworm 26x2.5 tires. They will be here in 2 days so i will post pics once these MASSIVE tires are on. Despite being wider they should roll really nicely. Fortunately my frame and for has enough room to fit the width of the tire.

A new tube and duck tape will make it ridable till they come in.

Perfect timing, It couldn't be nicer outside and I'm going to fawk around.

I do feel a little goofy after 4-5 years of not touching a bike though.

I can already see where this is going, damn you Adam.

Bottomed out my shitty ass Manitou forks like 25 times just fucking around my yard/driveway. I'm pretty sure I heard them crying at one point. The upgrade fever has already begun and it's only been one day...

My dad has a Kona (no idea what model) and I ride ragged mountain in Berlin every now and then, but it's been a while since I've been on his bike because some part on the gears is fucked up and the chain tends to fall off (no idea what the part is called but could point it out)

Your skill in mt biking makes me

I am no where near good enough to do a 4 ft drop off let alone some of the shit you must do. I love videos of guys doing these insane trails and i am just jealous. I can handle dowin hill, and XC and technical stuff but anything that comes to a jump or air or drop and i will die.

I built my bike for the hope that some day i can do all that cool shit. That and it makes me feel big in the pants.

I would love to be skilled enough to be int his video.
