it IS a downhill bike. Gawsh.Originally posted by crosbike View PostMaybe for your little girl bikes but try downhilling all day.

Adam I guess we're not cool enough 'cause we don't have hydraulic brakes. Let's go ride the canal trails with all the old people because we can't survive a downgrade.

i know what kind of bike it is. I prefer hydro to cable because messing with cables sucks and you can definitely get more stopping power but you can argue more but there is a reason hydros exist.Originally posted by SwampThing View Postit IS a downhill bike. Gawsh.

Your welcome. LOLOriginally posted by XJLI View Postmy mechanical discs work fine stopping my beast of a giant thank you very much.
I love my Mechanical discs. They Stop fucking great, and are relatively maintenance free and easy to work on on the trail. 8" front rotor, 6" rear Hayes Mechanical discs. Almost every shop has pads for them too so if i needed them in a pinch it usually is not an issue finding brake pads.Last edited by Kyle; 04-06-2010, 04:11 PM.Lady bugs don't like it when you paint stripes on them
