Do you have your heart set on .45? the walther ppq is a nice compact 9mm shooter and quite a bit cheaper to shoot than .45. Also fn just came out with the fns9 which i really like and it is under 600 bucks

I have a Ruger LCP for carry, and its nice, doesn't shoot to bad, and its really easy to conceal. I seriously wait tables at the restaurant with it and no ones knows.

I have the glock27 the sub compact .40 9+1 with extension it is 10+1 if you get the glock26 9mm you get 10+1 then 12+1 if I remember correct.

At first I thought the gun was blocky and never carried it. Get a good holster like the crossbread, it took a little to break in but now I carry everyday and feel weird when I don't have it on, sometime I need to check that I'm actually wearing it. On the other hand any thing smaller would be that much more comfortable. What about a single stack like a Karh or Keltec.

What about a 9mm I think getting shot with a 9mm will still hurt plus you usually get more shots.

I carry around 4:00-5:00 I don't think it prints much unless I'm wearing a tight shirt I can also tuck my shirt over the holster. Also open carry is legal in CT so don't worry about printing you cannot get in trouble.

Next get your Utah permit or Florida and enjoy a few more states.
And contact the representatives about HR.822 national carry reciprocity, carry in every state.

Actually, do worry, while open carry might be legal, people can still call the police on you and you'll still get arrested for disturbing the peace. All it takes is one person freaking out that "You have a gun!"



Also, I'd like to know what the big attraction to the Utah permit here is here in CT. CT dosn't even recognize it, and neither does every state bordering CT so you wouldn't even be able to travel through NY, MA and NJ with your pistol on you. If you ever got pulled over in NY or NJ with your pistol at your side and not in a trunk with 6 locks on it and disarmed, you're fucked until a Judge reviews FOPA. Utah permit is a waste of money unless you travel to any of the states that recognize or have reciprocity with Utah on a weekly or monthly basis. Worthless in New England.
