energy drinks themselves are retarded. people need to learn how to control their own lives instead of sucking down a can to stay alert. humans have been living their lives for thousands of years naturally and now that people can't physically make it through their days without ingesting an energy additive is just plain sad

I do occasionally drink energy drinks and I enjoy them. Last week my buddy and I got a 6 pack and 2 four lokos ; drank the 4 lokos and then 3 beers over a time period of 1-2 hours and we were buzzed but nothing crazy.

I can deff. say if you drink 2 or more it will seriously mess you up. Put a warning label on it and thats all... People smoke cigaretts, chew tobacco, and all sorts of bad things that will kill you one day. Those arent banned why should these? you chose your own life.

So your saying, raise the price of Four Lokos to $10.00 a can. Then many people wont want to spend money to buy them and kids more than likely wont spend 10.00 on a can of this "shit"... for under $3.00 you can get drunk off of a can of this..... Maybe we're onto something...

I think the ban is a good idea but I also don't think it will do much. Where there's a will, there's a way. Red Bull Vodka has become a very popular drink and I think it's easy enough to go buy some other energy drink and spike it with everclear, etc, etc in the same way as you could buy a can of Four Loko.

I started drinking one the other day and stopped half way through mostly because it just tasted awful, but the half can didn't do a thing to me even few drinks afterward. I agree that overall the idea of an upper and a depressant is a bad idea, but it's very much a matter of drinking responsibly.

I agree but I will grab an energy drink from to time, sometimes my day involves working a 10hr day then going home and eating dinner and just when I am ready to go to bed, I get called back in to work to in a fairly dangerous environment for another five hours. Call me weak, but it helps keep me safe(r) and my work tight at late hours. Yes it is my job but it is livelyhood.

Also, I have never heard of Four Loko before but I have drank Sparks or Tilt on chairlift rides before... I do not endorse but definately some of my best runs.

I think the government needs to stay the fuck out of my business if I am not affecting anyone else then leave me the fuck alone. They are becoming much to socialist and trying to nanny everyone in the country. I should be able to do what I damn well please. If I feel I want to eat trans-fats everyday and die of being a lard ass that's my choice and no one should be able to change that. Feel free to refuse treatment and health-care...etc. to dumb-asses but those are my choices the government can not regulate what I can and can not put in my body. I have an ex who used to drink at least 7 red bulls a day, she was 5'3 and 90 lbs. She would wind up on the floor in the fetal position shaking uncontrollably and drenched in sweat from the caffeine. I tried to convince her to at least moderate but she still drinks at least 6 a day to this day. But that is her choice to make and no one elses. I don't think that we can ban things like four loko and trans-fats yet still allow salvia and cigarettes are still legal.

fuck that. If you can't drink and be responsible about it then fuck you. I can have a good fucking time, be shitfaced and make it home, regardless of what I drank that night. Banning one type of booze isn't going to stop people from getting fucked up and ending up in hospitals. People get drunk and stupid all the time. They've just recently picked a company to blame it on. Also I'm drunk.

yes. that would help with the thousands of people dying in back alleys because they are too scared to call EMS as it is illegal. If it was then I think less people be severely brain dead or even dead from being too scared of the laws to get help when they need it.
