i honestly dont see a point in gearing for a 33" tire. id rather have the clearance, added strength and flex of a long arm.

Joe, its your jeep, do what you want with it. I like regearing cause I get the power on and off road again. Long arms would be sweet too but I think regearing would help you out more. Also why not throw a locker in the d30? Again its your jeep do what you want but dont get mad when we tell you your idea is a little wierd and quite backwards.-Caleb

Limited slips are a joke for wheeling. If i were to longarm again i would either buy or make a true 4 link setup as radius arms are lame. Gears help out a lot more than you think offroad and on with better acceleration and a better crawl ratio. Plus with bigger tires you get more ground clearance.

dont you have a limited slip??? just about as usefull as them spider gears in your front..
ran 3.55s and 32/33/35 locked...
Tranny hated life... tranny fluid looked like shit... sloppy shifts..
