ok so since last friday (4-10), the white cab went from one frame to the other. By the end of the day on that friday the truck was running. but still not put together all the way. By thursday the truck was completely together and i drove it to work on this past friday. I would have driven it to the M&G today but i had to go to VT.

here are a few pictures to illustrate the progress

    Working on bed removal

Cab is ready to be swapped over

6 of us power lifted the cab over each engine off of one frame onto the other, cab sitting on good frame

    No good chassi loaded up

    working on reassembly

the truck as it stands now

i can't wait to do more with it. next may be a locker in the rear

alright so i tried to modify the door hinges on the truck to make it really simple to remove the doors. well it all worked out in theory in my mind, but after modifying the hinges to be able to just open the doors and lift them off, i came to find out that my plan had failed because of a lip on the bottom of the door and the fender.
i'll post pics later of this failure

so i went and bought a set of hinges for $75 that will allow the quick removal of my yota doors. they should be here by friday.
here's a link to some pics

so i bought myself a Powertrax Lockright locker for the rear of the yota

due to it being a 4 pinion rear, i had to tear the 3rd member and carrier apart

ok, it's been a while, but some recent developments (pictures soon to come)

i cranked up the torsion bars in the front end to give me about 1.5 inches of lift, i bought a set of used 35x14.5" Super swamper TSL with about 50% tread for $200, and a friend of mine is sending me some free 2" blocks for the rear off his Samuri.

once i get those blocks i'll lift the rear and stuff those 35's in
