Went out wheeling tonight with wrpoole and frejeep, wrpoole did a pretty nice hill climb which I confirmed tonight is <108" wheel base only. Ended up leaning the truck up against a berm washout thing and breaking my passenger side window and really destroying the door which amazingly still opened and closed and luckily my father (frejeep) was not hurt considering he was in the passenger seat with the window rolled down when my truck decided to lay down for a nap. But I had spare glass at home so the window is already replaced and still works. Also frejeep has a blown motor from an electric fan failure. More details soon hopefully.

Repacked my leafs with 4" arch, leaf YJ rear springs and reused the top 2 leafs from the stock packs, much better look and ride now. Also put in a support for the CB shelf so it doesn't shake terribly doing 45-50.

If this stupid bipolar state would make up its mind about the weather I would have some good pictures for the thread, but not happening right now.

Finally put the winch on. Mounted it above the frame to gain some clearance.

Started with cutting the top of the bumper mounts off and shaving the front of the frame so a piece of 1/8" angle would mount flush. Then clamped and welded it to the frame.

Then after welding the angle to the frame, we centered up the plate and winch then tac'd it on. After removing the winch to prevent heat from getting to the winch we laid down full beads connecting the plate to the frame and angle. Then after trimming the plate clear the lights and spraying it with some black paint we reattached the winch and lights and came up with this.

Found a LED lamp at transfer station and decided to take it just to see if it would work for my truck. Turns out A. it does work, very well also and B. it at one point in time was one of these http://konceptech.com/images/products/LL3001-thm.png

And now it looks like this.

Deavers!!! Notice that the 5.5" lift deavers are longer than the 6" lift tuff country springs.

One of the biggest differences besides the nice ride is the compression on flex

Maybe a little more droop ya?

And the overall front flex not the best display of travel but it's a good show of front movement
