been in country now for about 5 months plotting what to do to the jeep next. bought synthetic winch line, some brackets for a secret project, some more steering stuff to fix the little problems i had. going to order 1 more seat, i might have a line on a 5.3 v8 in ohio, and bought a hd hero video camera

OK, update time, i havent done a thing to the jeep in 10 months because i've been in the middle east, but i have been buying parts and making plans. The parts i have bought are; kingpin rebuild kits(my steering still has never been as solid as i want it), new tierod with offset tre's, new clamp for hydro(will be flipping it and making a new mount for it) battery bracket, fuel cell bracket(both brackets from artec), fuel hose and fill to bring the fill to outside of jeep, fuel pick-up's, a TON of brackets(secrets), winch line from custom splice, and some other things i cant remember. I will also be buying new rockers and tube fenders soon. The idea is to make the jeep clean, solid, and still streetable on 40's. I'm going to build a new cage so the hard top fits on, and i will be getting rid of the boat side for more usual rockers(will by from sniper fab). Also i am debating buying a tubing bender but thats still up in the air.

got a used protools105 with degree ring and 240 degree 1.75 tube die!!!! also ordered the copperheadfab hydro mount for it. ordered riddler diffcover for the rear, found some used parts for spares, ordered all new fuel and hydraulic lines for when i move the fuel cell and hydro ram. I've definitely ordered more shit that i just cant think of. I have a pretty decent pile of parts waiting for me at home.

P.S. I fly out of the shitbox for demoab in 15 days very excited to see my family and friends again

Been busy with school and work and life but here some pics of getting this thing wheeling again. After is sat outside for my whole deployment it needs some love.
First thing i tackled was the front axle and steering, all new joints, bearings, u-bolts, seals, tie-rod, hydro ram mount




Winch didn't work when i came home so i got a new motor put on it from a local electric shop, was only $188.56, then i painted it and sealed it with 5200 marine silicon


Cleaned up my spare shafts and painted them

Tube bender and hydro bracket and cylinder together. Cleaned up the degree ring and painted it to. Got a piece of 2" wide 10' long c-channel free, so i'm going to use it to make the stand.

So the next step is to pull the body and make a cheap dolly for it, and get the frame all cleaned up. The get new body mounts made and fix the holes in the floor. hopefully some starting pick after this weekend

Well, i was in pre-moab training, the deployed and 2 years later i'm finally working on it again and putting real time into it, working on the actual saving part. BTW the body comes off tomorrow and i will start fixing everything on the frame.

Also just got brand new fox 4" bumps and cans for $375 off pirate for the front end
