  • the front is lower too. i didn't want to buy new leaf springs because of the $$ so the local spring shop reformed my leafsprings and took 4" of lift out of them, so there just a little longer than stock but stock height spring over now

          • so i've been bored with waiting between duty days and have been working on the jeep buttoning up loose ends. Patched rear left corner of frame.(had been putting it off because it didn;t look to bad but when i did it there was very little frame left after cutting out the rust) i've also started to fix my floors because apparently herculiner SUCKS. when i first bought my jeep i stripped the inside ground it down painted and herculined. back then there were 2 small spots of rust, now i'm replacing my whole passenger side floor for the most part. Also grant was over today helping me with the floors and we decided to cut my rockers out and boat side my shit and remount my sliders at a 45 degree angle. will have pic's of everything in the next couple days.

                  • here are some pics from figuring out shock lengths, driving over some car and the new boatsides(they aren't super extreme boatsides but are still sweet, didn't do more cutting for boatsides due to i would have to redo the cage mounts if it did)

haha, i can't even get one of the front tires off the ground if a rear lifts up, but the rear leafs are hitting frame(i have to figure out something for those)

and i fixed those tail lights(bad fuse, good thing the cop that pulled me over is a good family friend )

                            • so i was thinking with the new way the rockers were mounted the joints would be a big issue in rocks and if i were to get hung up on one i would be screwed so i notched out all 3 joints and put a tube in, functional, and i think it looks bad ass

if you compare it to the last pic in the last set of pics you can see hoe the joint would have been a hang up spot
