Granted, the military is not for everyone. There is lots of BS that service members have to deal with that civilians will never have to. Your boss is a dickhead in your 9-5 job, you tell him to fuck off and quit. You wanna move to a new state , you pack up and move. You wanna do whatever the hell you want. Go for it. You do lose a lot of freedoms, but its all for a cause i guess.
Me? I would have never pictured myself in the military, and still sometimes have a hard time believing what I got myself into. I hate taking orders, especially when its bullshit like work a 24 hour shift looking for a lost tool, get woken up while im sleeping to take a random piss test, ect. Sometimes I have to bite my tongue because if I dont ill get myself introube, but for the most part, the good outweighs the bad.
