Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending "Freetrade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.
They go too far, trade must be amended, but $20 /hr is retarded, they are looking for a unitary globalized economy, not fixing ours.
Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.
Another thing i strongly disagree with
Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.
Strongly disagree. Socialism?
Demand four: Free college education.
Strongly disagree
Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.
While i have faith in alternative energies, it cannot be mandated
Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.
Actually important, find the funding and i think that this should be done
Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.
Not priority.
Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.
Once again, not priority, and don't we already have equal rights?
Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.
Simply retarded. Globalization. New World Order mumbo jumbo
Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.
Once again, not priority, our election system works
Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.
Completely retarded
Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.
What is this going to solve. Really?
Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.
This is already how workers unions operate.
These demands will create so many jobs it will be completely impossible to fill them without an open borders policy.
I'd hesitate to believe that. There you go, no full circle whatsoever. I do not agree with 90% of what these people are demanding. They are looking for a socialist solution to the economy. That deffinately doesn't work. I mean c'mon if you get a paycheck without going to work, who would honestly go to work?? I sure as hell wouldn't.No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

Dillion, and anyone else that says The American Dream" is out of reach:
It's because of whiney brats like the kids that are sitting in NYC right now that it has become this way. They seem to think that the american dream is just something you're handed and *poof* you are now a millionaire. By calling upon the "rich" to pay for everything, they are taking away the incentives to become "rich" in the first place. Do you know the COST of success these days?
Welfare = do nothing, get money, food stamps, wic, housing, etc... lose nothing (not even time with your family) BTW: welfare will pay more to a minority than to a white. FACT!
In order to pay for "low income" programs (as well as all the other programs that deliver no results but cost billions), they take more out of the people that do try to improve their position in life.
Even unemployment pays most people LESS than they could be getting on welfare.
Every new tax bracket you enter, a larger percentage is forcefully removed from your paycheck to pay someone that has grown rather comfy living on your wages. While I was working at McDonalds, I got a $0.25/hr raise, this bumped me up, and I was making $50 LESS a week! Punishment for success.
Do you know how many small businesses end up making no money? This is because they have to pay their business expenses, they have to pay the insurance companies, they are taxed at a higher rate, and if they want employees, they have to pay unemployment tax, they have to pay a "payroll tax", they have to match whatever you put into social security, health benefits, workman's comp, etc.... And that's just for a SMALL business. Every rung higher on the ladder of success, makes you pay more and more.
Take a look at how much money the federal government takes in taxes from "big oil", before we even see it at the pump, never mind, the extra taxes they impose for us to see, both from the oil company and from the consumer. Everytime it transported or changes hands in any way, there is another sales tax or transportation fee. That's every single time a driver gets behind the wheel, a forklift moves a drum, or a train gets loaded, and thats not including the employee fees, hazardous materials taxes, fees and regulations. If it weren't for sheer bulk of product they put out, we wouldn't be able to own a single plastic product, drive the cars, put on lip balm, or wear half of the protective gear we have. The oil companies wouldn't be able to pay for half the programs that are out there right now. Tobacco was another one that paid such a large percentage, that when they all die out, that's more burden on the taxpayer.
Success, costs more than it makes in many cases, these kids DO NOT have the drive to make any kind of personal sacrifice to do anything with the awesome head starts they have currently.
I wish my parents could have sent me to school for so many years because I wanted to become an "artist". I was homeless for a couple years on and off, I got my GED, I took whatever job came my way. I maxed out credit cards (had over $17,000 in credit card debt). I kept working, joined the reserves, paid down my debt (some people SAVE their overseas money though). I now have a 724 credit score (from 342), and while, yes I am currently unemployed, I'm looking for a job in the profession of my choice. If I don't get it before the next semester, I'm going to use my GI-bill and benefits to go to school to make me a more viable candidate. You can't say that the armed forces is not open to most of these kids and the "poverty stricken", and it'll pay for college!
The point is, these kids DO NOT WANT to WORK to make something of themselves! They want others to do the work for them and hand over the results.
