Woke up 6am sunday morning to find what seemed to be little destruction in huntington at my friend Kens. Took a ride with my friend Ron to see if his 65ft lobster boat was still in its slip and not floating about randomly. Its a damn good thing we took his XJ on 37s with a pair of tons under it Ill let the pics explain..

This is the end of the street where the bay meets land, as you can see there is no obvious barier of anysort it was all just now part of the bay!

Docked up the XJ after a few miles of driving down roads that were under about 3ft of water

His boat still right where it needed to be!

Pretty much the entire south shore of longisland got flooded bad! This was on the nautical mile down in Freeport one of the worst spots. Oh and before anyone says anything we were both 100% aware of what the salt water did to the jeep...

this morning a house exploded down the street from my friend and a bridge on 287 north collapsed due to the water so the highway is shut down. all the major highways in north jersey and the ny thruway are closed yet i had work . matter of fact i hear more fire trucks right now
By exploded, you legitimately mean house go boom, Ram-through-front-door-Twister-style? Teddy bear and all?

I mean, What was the gift card for? This information really makes all the difference... If it was like 10 bucks to Sizzler, yeah, I'd be pretty pissed too.

Plenty of power at my house, problem is no Internet. Half of my street had power and the other half doesn't. When you look left out of my driveway at night it's like a black abyss. I got lucky this time but I'm using the internet at my shop currently. No damage to my house but Matt and I spent this weekend playing video games.

Yesterday we drove around Fairfield and Milford to see the damage and less than 25 yards away from Matt's house (hoggie) the waves were crashing up against the shoreline houses.

For those who live inland the storm is nothing more that a bunch of fallen trees and lost power, but for those who lived on the beach, their houses are essentially destroyed. High winds and rain mean plenty of water and when it comes at the peak of high tide, shit goes down.

Oh well, got a lot done in Gears of War 2 yesterday, took some pictures of the carnage in milford and fairfield but can't upload them at home because of no internet. Oh well, I don't expect it to come back any time soon, but at least I have things to keep my occupied.

no power at my house since i guess about 2 yesterday. We didnt know there were that many children in our neighbor hood everyone was outside, so tims and i took to our camping chairs and our cooler sitting in the front yard drinking lol. We met alot of our neighbors. damage report is we have none. i went for a 7 mile run yesterday and saw lots of trees down and power lines. other than that i think there is a widespread aids outbreak.
