If you guys had fun at pleasure beach you'd have a field day at Norwich State Hospital. Way more to see and do. Security is alittle beefier there, but I know a forum of Urban Explorers who can getcha in there if ya want, I think they are friends with the security company or something. And same type of deal, dont go looking to cause trouble and you will be good.

Pleasure beach was cool because it was an entire Abandoned Community; an entire street of houses in which the inhabitants just one day got up and left.

There are plenty of Abandoned buildings in Bridgeport, but like you said, there is Security. I had the opportunity to get a tour through the Majestic Theater a while back and while it was cool, it wasn't anything like Pleasure Beach.

it was most unique because it was a beach, almost island, community that was plainly abandoned, complete with carnival infrastructure, no security, no nothing.

stuff like norwich is way cool as well, but just a different kinda cool

Thats essential what the Norwich state hospital is. They have neighborhoods where nurses and doctors and staff were housed at, abandoned. They have entire buildings, such as bowling alleys, a pool, movie theatre, cafeterias, operating rooms, pharmacy, wards, padded rooms for pyschos, even a morgue. Theres something like 30+ buildings on the main property and they are all interconnected by tunnels underground. I missed out on a chance to go in back before I joined the air force, and now its too risky with my security clearance to risk getting a trespassing charge. Id love to go in still.
