Me and a few friends were BSing in shop and this axle came up, does it have a place in the 4x4 community and would it be a good jeep axle?

Some people use the semi-float 14's. Its not bad, but full float versions can be had just as cheap. The housing is smaller, which is nice, but so is everything else.Dan.

It would probably be too wide to run with a Waggy 44 front. 8.8 is probably a better match strength/size wise, but the different bolt patterns present an issue.
You could buy Zach's (Lycaon) Isuzu rear in the for sale section with a Waggy front. That was my plan originally.97 XJ.
