90% of shaved 14bolts i've seen also have been reported to leak constantly. Not that it will stop me from eventually doing it to the one i'm getting for free.

Update-

14 bolt- Now has the disk brake swap.. cheep and easy. plus there was no way in hell i could ever rebuild the old brakes. it took about an hour and a half of beating the drums with a sledge to get the fuckers off. Also have a DIY 14 bolt cover kit on the way and a ruffstuff simple 14 bolt swap kit

D 60- tomorrow everything should be welded solid except the track bar, (big thanks to Frank (giantsfan)). I have the heims for the track bar and steel on the way aswell... i also found a set of hi steer arms for cheep, but not sure if i want to use them yet.

driveshaft issues- the front shaft will work fine since teh wheelbase is stretched 2 inches and i was able to trade a friend for a 1310 yoke. For the rear i was told i can get a 1350 yoke then i was looking up conversion u joints from a 1310 to a 1350 which should work just fine for now... maybe later ill put a dana 300 and a new driveshaft in...

I picked up a dookin piece of 2x6 for the cross member today. still trying to think of how i wana go about mounting it since my lower arms are kinda in the way..


so with any luck at all, this thing should be rolling by the end of the weekend, and hopefully can do the gears the following weekend.

my dana60 shaved itself. my bottom bolt is useless now, and my lube locker gasket is about half the size it used to be. i hope it still seals

just floor it when you come up to rocks that you might get hung up on
