UGH..... well...
once again today i went 1 step forward and 2 steps back....
the 14 bolt is all welded up and put together just waiting for gearz
also put my high steer arms and started to put the steering together just to notice that the won ton inverted T setup wont work do to the fact that the axle is moved 2 inches forward and i see no way that the drag link wont bind while articulating.
kinda sux cuz i originally bought the inverted T setup because i was just going to run it without high steer, to the stock arms on the 60. but unfortunately with the high steer arms it just doesn't look feasible.
so i have a couple ideas goin threw my brain.
1. go back to under the knuckle inverted T and sacrifice my track bar angle, and the fact that i cant resell the steering setup
2. run a new drag link with 7/8ths hiems to the hi steer arms so that i can set my trackbar where it needs to be for good. while running the under the knuckle tierod
3. just do it right and spend the extra cash for a 7/8ths hiem steering and do away with the inverted T for good, and be happy for till the day i die... unfortunately money is starting to get tight and i really want to be at OER2 with my jeep this time......
feeling pretty overwellmed and cant afford to rush this....

another idea....
use the hi steer arms and steering kit.
since the arms i have only have one 3/4 inch whole on each side, i will need to drill a second whole behind the first on the passenger side and mount the tierod from underneath on the original hole, while mounting the drag link to the top in the new whole....
or better yet, just drill a new hole in each arm and run the tierod behind the draglink both on the top side of the arms......

not saying its wrong... more of the fact im trying to use the kiss method. my arms have a 3/4 inch hole. and that would be great for a 7/8ths heim... i will also do away with the inverted T. and it would be super dooper strong for when i go hydro assist.Originally posted by Ktmracer419some people choose video games
