Thanks guys, I definately have some dents to hammer out of this piece. Always a pleasure to beat on it.
Pete, those pics are sweeet, I got a new profile pic on the face book.
Even, I got the arm, it is longer than what I have now, too long to put on without moving my steering box which was way too much to do before the comp, I am going to change some stuff around so it will fit, and the longer arm should help out my somewhat shitty steering (although I have been thinking alot about full hydro since saturday)
I was rushing to get stuff done on this before the comp, I will update with what I did, and what I am going to do on it soon.

Smashed hood
Totaled air cleaner
Tweaked grill
Broke both Milemarker Locking hubs (at the same time)
Power steering pump crying the blues
Sheared a bolt and tweaked my front spring
Next upgrades
Improve underhood/radiator protection
35 Spline outers with drive flanges or a different brand locking hub
Improvements to steering, including better cooling and a longer pitman arm
i'm kinda upset i didn't go down there, after seeing the videos this has definitely become a rig to drool on.
what brands of hub were you thinking of going with? my dad ran Milemarkers in his 84 Silverado and they also both broke, and all that truck did was plow. He switched to Warns and has had them in for about six years now, they held up pretty well.
definitely looking forward to some of these upgrades

owen just go driveflanges or go with powertrains, bob has them on his 79f350 and they've worked well for 8 years or so with plowing and all..
I really like flanges, I have some in right now, but next time I have to drive to a trail on the road it will suck. I was checking out Kappy's Superwinch hubs, I like that they are in CT, because if they give me balls about returning them, I can drive there and flip. The Milemarker rep I bought my locking hubs from said "if you ever have a problem just send 'em back" but he failed to tell me "we won't even talk to you if you don't have a receipt."
