Quick Update, even though this is roughly a 1/4 of the work this jeep is gonna see within the next month.
So tailhousing on the tcase was broken all the way around, which led to vibrations, shaft failure, and ultimately poopy.
So the new tcase with SYE is in.
Replaced the crappy broken yoke on the 44 with a u-bolt style yoke
I installed my rear bumpstops before RCQ but never posted... so here they are...
I notched some box steel i had laying around and welded it to the axle housing. They passed the test and worked great for me that whole weekend. It's so nice to rub on anything
And i did step one of chassis fab i moved the sliders into the rockers, they are not tied in yet, because i am waiting to get the stiffeners on then tie them down to that. then some UHMW for the win. But anyways this is the start, i love how they came out.
More to come though, thats for sureNo worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

so i just got a set of 12 in travel bilstein 5125's.....
debating whether to run these through the floor for huge rear shocks, or figure out a way to mount them up front, where may i note 8 inch travels would have been perfect. No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
