got to do some wheeling yesterday. had some fun and really put it to the test.
had to get winched once on a real slick hill. rear diff was up against a rock and front tire was behind a rock on a steep wet dirt hill. got some good pics. not as good as I wanted but we were busy wheeling

I have also decided definitively that I will remove a leaf from the rear pack, add a 1" shackle and lower the front to match. I hope to end up down around 4.5-5" of lift on the 35's

she also got a well deserved bath today.

also, not mine, but one of the water crossings

              Dan.

been doing a little bit of work lately.
the rear quarters were cut when I got this jeep, and it not only looked bad, there was nothing holding the outers to the inner wheelwell. so this is what i did

then I took roughly an inch and a half out of the front springs to get it a little lower.

                then I wheeled it!

works pretty well and Im happy with it. I need a longer shackle in the rear to get it to really work how it should and Id like it a little lower, so next project is to remove a leaf or two and get a shackle. Hopefully it will ride better too.

I've seen some longer shackles around, what are you looking for(regular or boomerang)?

The best days of wheeling are always the spur of the moment trips haha..It started and ended a little rough but that was a great time.

That looks like it sucked but hey it looks like it only broke the caps and not break like like Dave's Jeep a few months ago up in Hebron I'm also glad to see that I am not the only one to have broken something/broken down on that trail network.
