Well yes and no. The solid can provide forced articulation and has a bigger aftermarket for shafts and no middle u joint and slip joint shaft to worry about. A lot of people have told me the exact same thing on other forums. Its easier to get chromo shafts and its cheaper to get the rcv shafts for a solid also, which is what I'd like to do. Those are my temporary impact deadeners. lol I hit my rockers prior to having them and I just put them on to help dissipate impacts on the rockers, I plan on replacing them at some point.
