Mounted master and attached it to the pedal:

    1st try:

That broke off because the point the pushrod mounted to on the pedal was too far and too high so i made this up (kinda hard to see):

I got a starter and put it in. It starts and the clutch works good but I was hearing a loud ginding noise from somewhere in the clutch area. Didnt go away with clutch in or out so I pulled the starter and pop started the truck to make sure it wasnt the starter grinding. Upon further inspection I found that the pressure plate i am using is too thick and is grinding up against the clutch fork
Hard to see but the pressure plate is on the left and the round piece pressed up against it is the pivot point of the clutch fork.

I was almost done now it all has to come back out

Pulled the trans back out today.

      Here was the problem:
Pressure plate on left was too tall

      Resulted in this:

I put the other pressure plate in and it seems to be working good.
Just have to finish up putting a couple things back together then figure out the shifters

          Finished the shifters

This thing drives like a mini dump truck! I love it. 1st gear is really low. Thanks Owen, youre the man.

So anyone that was at OER knows i broke BB so i started working on this thing again. I wanna get this thing going so i have something to wheel while i tear apart the four link on the BB.

Im trying to get the engine running better as it always got really bad (4MPG) fuel mileage. I did a compression test and it was not terrible but one cylinder was a little low and one was a little high. (All at 120 except one at 130 and one at 110). I hooked a scanner up to it (yes it has a computer) and got a MAP sensor code. After trying another MAP and still getting the code i traced the wiring and found a pin in the connector pushed back and not making contact to the sensor. I drove it around yesterday for a bit it is much better now but still not perfect. I think that low cylinder may be making it run a little rough but its ok for now. Definitely good enough to wheel

I also (forgot to take a picture) but made a bracket to support the stud that Owen's homemade twinsticks pivot on becasue it was flexing a little and wouldnt go into 4 wheel high. Now it shifts like a champ.

I plan on hopefully gettin a cage in this thing and lockin it. Ill update as I do more.

OK so i did this too:

                        Front locker

                        rear locker

                        shitty pictures

Rear locker used factory side gears kinda weird but kinda cool because i can upgrade to 31 splines if i want to. Front went together nicely then had to take it back apart becasue the axle seal was leaking. there was no vent in the front axle and it was filled with water so i made a vent. I realized that the vent for the back axle is just a bolt so i need to make one for that too.

Got a diff cover for the front, now the steering hits it. The steering is bent anyway, guess its time for new steering. This thing is a load of fun locked. Time for a cage because it teeters everywhere. I also realized that my power steering keeps overflowing. I need to remedy that; maybe its getting too hot.

Also may be time for bumpers. I ripped my rear bumper completely off on a rock on trail O i believe. Haha good times. I heard it fall and was like what the hell was that?

So i bought a fuel cell for this truck. Then...i cut a hole in it.

The guy i work with gave me this which explains the hole

                            It fits!!!

                            Then i did this:

                            ...because i got this stuff:

                            My final creation.

Yes; that is a flip phone!!!

Oh and more to come soon...

                                My pistons fell out!!!

                                I have my reasons....(mine is a 74')

This is how i believe they lowered the compression:
Piston on the left is from an 87' the one on the right is from my 74'

SO...if you havent figured it out already; i am throwing in the pistons from the 87. Might as well make an engine out of my engine right?
