my freshman year of HS i was on my way to PA with my cousin, her son, her husband, and his sister...we were in her SUV and her husband was driving....we were somewhere near the delaware water gap at like 9 at night when an 18 wheeler cut across all three lanes...turns out he fell asleep at the wheel and crashed right into us (we were in the left lane) we caused 4 other accidents behind us and we were crushed in between the truck and the divider...i had to climb out of the sunroof because it was the only way out, and we were told if the accident had happened a few seconds later we would have hit the gas tank and probably cause a whole mess, and yeah, we would have died. had to wear a sling for a few weeks, my back and shoulder are still messed up to this day, had a nastyyyy black and blue eye from it....it wasn't fun
i also have mild hypoglycemia and i will faint due to dehydration and lack of sugar...a few times i have stopped breathing for quite a while and people have seen my eyes roll to the back of my head....pretty freaky stuffmrs. heavymetal from jeepforum

got into a motorcycle accident back in october and stuck/was struck by a van who had no brakes. All I remember was getting slammed by the van, the bike falling apart below me, and flying though the air and tumbling down the road. I was wearing a helmet, and some how, none of the helmet made contact with anything, wasnt a scratch on it... I did however break all my toes in my left foot and had a few of my toe nails removed. It was really weird too, because I stood up after it was all said and done and I had so much adrenaline that I just walked around and was fine, I felt no pain, I was just angry that my bike was toast, but I felt fine. 10 minutes later I see blood dripping out of my shoe and I knew I had a problem.... Could have been a lot worse, I made out pretty good in the end.

9 years ago, I was bringing a friend home during a blizzard. We were on 291 in Windsor going 20mph ( Chrysler K-Car no less ). I look in the mirror, and this van is flying up towards us. I thought he was being an asshole, but I was wrong. Behind the van was a semi that jackknifed and was flying towards us. Somehow, the van made it past me, and the semi regained control at the last second and avoided us.1998 XJ.....Finally.

Many many incidents while being stupid in my old Subie because I was young. Almost wrecked a state highway truck head-on while drifting around a corner, probably around 65mph. Also did around 155 on the highway, in the dark.
The closest knock on deaths doorstep I ever had, was to climb a power line tower. The kind that you see going through the mountains and are easily 300+ ft. tall. I made it as far as I could before the ladder bars started snaking around the tower, which was basically 3/4 of the way up. One slip and there was really no chance of me surviving.
Someone actually saw me and called the cops, I never got in trouble though.

bullshit so you were doing 354.05568 kph when the bike has a limiter at 300kph and does not have enough gearing to do it iirc?

was wheelin in ohio in my buddy's dakota, and he managed to barrel roll it 4 or 5 times goin down a hill and we landed on the roof.. i was lucky i was wearin my belt, the roof crushed down to within inches of my head... i cut 1/2way thru the belt with the backside of my knife before i wondered what was takin so long and figured it out a kid with a bronco and another with a ramcharger chained it up and flipped it up on the wheels, and it started right up but smoked like crazy for about 5 minutes.. we ended up driving it back to cleveland where we lived (about a 45 minute ride)"Life's tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid."
