What direction you want to take your life in is a better question to ask yourself. Do you need college to get there? Then start looking at school that will cater the best to your needs and where you are going in lifeLast edited by Magilla; 11-12-2009, 08:25 PM.1996 xj, waggy 44 front 5.13 gears aussie trussed, 3 links, 3.5" coils, spooled 8.8 rear, 38" tsl sx's, tnt front bumper, jesus freaks rear bumper, Olympic top hat roof rack, bunch of dumb shit

i always thought that i wanted to be an engineer but i'm not too sure anymore. i'm not doing too well in physics or calculus this year. i have also considered becoming a drafter. that's something i enjoy doing.
this whole college thing is confusing. haha. it's stupid that we have to chose what we want to do with the rest of our lives without having any real world experience first.1987 YJ

I went to a Tech School and graduated with a certificate in manufacturing Technology ( machine tool , cnc lathes , mills etc) I loved it in school, worked at a machine shop for a few month's and found it to be quite boring. Now i've been working in an automotive garage as a emission's inspector, tires/oil changes and minor mechanical work until I have my ASE's (took 2 of them few days ago). I'm looking into Computer networking now as I always like computers.Last edited by 1cleantj; 11-12-2009, 09:18 PM.up to 40% off parts from advance auto parts, buy online and pick up at store for free-click here!

I knew college wasn't for me, sitting at a desk and in lecture halls is the fastest way to go to sleep and if I have to pay money to do that, then fuck college.

I don't see anything wrong with taking some time off to work, but that isn't as easy as it used to be. I took a few years off before going back to school since I wasn't the most stellar student in high school and needed some growing up to do before spending the money. Worked out since I found a decent paying job that offered me tuition reimbursement on top of that. Don't be one of those kids who waste their parents money so they can have a good time. Also don't pick a school that people know as a party school or easy grades because if enough people know the reputation of a school, that may not look good for prospective employers in the future.

Also something I've learned, don't pick a school because it's a sick party school. You can go to any school you want and get absolutely "piss your pants" shithoused every night of the week.
In fact, if that's a deciding factor in your school choice you're probably better off going to community college.1993 XJ sport 3.5" rustys 33" MTZ's armored.
