Awesome. But does that thing really only get 22 mpg?? Thats terrible, LOL. My old 1990 civic hatchback got 34 mpg with a 1.5 liter 4 banger and an auto!

Yea I bet. With that kind of power and good tires, I could see that thing hitting a low 11 in the 1/4, and maybe even a high 10 on a good launch!

Thanks! First one is a 93 hatch. caged, stock short block, aluminum heads, had a systemax intake and powerdyne on it, then it all got torn apart and got, world heads, victor Jr intake, pro systems carb and nitrous. Cobra R's went away for Prostars and slicks.

Second is a 80 notch. Weighed 2780 Lbs. Stock short block (roller) F cam, track heat heads, victor jr. quick fuel 850 150hp nitrous, tremec 3550. Went 11.20 with the stick, went to a Performance auto super comp c4 with a trans brake and it went 11.30 on just motor.

Last one is a 89, bought it to make a turbo DD. Stock 302, BUILT AOD, all billet shafts, 8" converter, suspension work etc. Sold it to fund more Jeep parts.

Nissan was the most fun, 419 WHP on 19 psi pump gas tune. REALLY fun car to drive. Way more than the mustangs.
The 80 was my favorite fox though. I had a 85 capri with a supercharged 5.0 too.

rckymntn05 I followed your thread on thirdgen. Your car is sweet.

                      Heres my 85.

I also have a 79 C10. Picked it up for $200 with a blown clutch.

                      Whats left of the clutch.

But yea, that sounds a bit better. I was going to say, why drive such an ugly car if it doesn't even get good gas mileage? LOL. That was THE one and only reason I suffered through driving my old honda hatch for 3 years!

I've got a buddy with a 93 fox stang who's in the process of doing a GM 6.0 LS swap lol. It'll be fuel injected still with a big cam, and a T56. Car is going to be so bad ass when it's done, and break a lot of hearts I'm sure

Another buddy of mine has a white 240SX with a built supra 2JZ engine in it. He's never had it dyno'ed, but was guessing it's making around 500+ rwhp. He took it to the track and ran a 10.82 @ 134 mph on street tires lol, so the thing is making some steam!

Yea, thats moving! I got close to selling my 86 before the build, but decided to hold onto it. Now I'm damn glad I did, because I love the thing more than ever. Heres a few vids of her.....figured I'd whore it out a bit

And one of me racing a bolt on new boss 302 stang. Believe the stang went 12.4 at 118 mph, but he claimed he had a shitty run that day at the track.

Haha, funny that I run into someone from TGO on this site! Thanks for the compliment. Your 85 looks clean too. It's amazing how many 3rd gen owners there are on here!

BTW, I see another 3rd gen peaking out from behind the truck there.
