Yes thats an 88 firebird. Might use it for parts or sell it. The 85 was not to clean when I got it. It was last on the road in 98 and was on the way to the scrap yard when I got it. Interior still needs help.

Im making 100 RWHP Im betting and getting 13-15 mpg and thats no fun.

Funny thing is, I thought my trans am was terrible on gas when I first got it on the road...until I bought my TJ. I forgot how horrendous the old 4.0 is for gas mileage lol.

I was actually originally going to buy a brand new 2013 rubi or sahara, and I test drove a few at a local dealership. In the end though, I just couldn't get over how that new 3.6 feels like it has absolutely no torque. I went and test drove my current rubicon with the 4.0, and fell in love again. If you drive the two within a few days of each other, the difference in pedal feel is insane lol. The 4.0 can come out of a corner in 3rd gear at 1000 RPM and pull like your in 1st gear with your foot barely on the gas. I tried that in the 2013 when I drove it, and I honestly had to push the pedal like 3/4 of the way down to get it to accelerate.

I haven't had a chance to get an accurate mpg number on my TA because theres not one time driving it where I didn't go WOT lol. I'd say on the highway I'm at about 21ish though. That 6 speed is amazing.
