          • Some "ranch bison" with the Tetons near Mormon Row.

At 1000am we arrived in the town of Jackson, WY (elevation 6,237) not Jackson Hole, WY.

Jackson Hole is only the name of the ski resort.

            Ate breakfast at The Bunnery.

                        • From 100pm to 500pm we spent exploring 25 miles of dirt road along the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park.

The views of the Tetons were spectacular especially since I had my girlfriend do all the driving.

Took these pictures during a lunch break.

Spotted a dozen or so elk near the Snake River, but they all bolted into the woods before I could get a decent picture.

Saw a few more elk, deer and pronghorn near the Snake, but they were always a quarter mile or more in the distance.

Back to the main road and pavement.

                              Now.....

175 miles and 4 hours of driving back to Big Sky, MT.
