I love my second Gen Droid. It does everything, but after running it for a long time (3 years or so) the software gets a bit glitchy. I love my phone except for when its being gay, and Verizon is awesomeness.

its depends on how you are going to use the phone, the droid is the most customizeable phone out there, you can literally change what ever you want on it. The iphone is known for its apps(droid has most of em for free!). the black berry is for the business people that are on a more professional level, have windows mobile and all that shit on it.

Don't fall into the whole if you drop a droid, it will shatter, i dropped my HTC Inspire 4g from 4 feet (fell out of my hand as i went to put it in my pocket) it hit the asphalt screen first and didn't even scratch it all all.
.... And the droid takes pics in 720p (hd) as i believe the iphone has similiar capabilities

I'm not super phone savvy or anything, but I love my iPhone. I don't know what carrier you have but the AT&T iPhone does more and let's you multi-task, verizon's does not but has better contracts and service plans (at least that's the news on the street). iPhone is very user friendly (for simple folks like me) and does everything a smart phone should and more.

I have an iPhone and it's good for the most part, doesnt glitch out like my friends blackberry, though If I was to get something new I'd look into droit operation system, more apps for more free... And I x2 the iPhone being very simple and user friendly.

IIRC, I believe my buddy claims he downloads music for free on his droid. (legally that is)

Have droid x, love it. Tons more user control over everything, interface is spartan but well designed. Tons of free apps vs apple and expandable memory and replacablr battery.


That said I used to have an iphone, which had a more organic interface ansimpler controls. It was nice because it was a good,reliable smart phone, but lacks the build quality and overall power of the droid os.

As for blackberry, I wouldnot bother unless you work heaily in corporate as most bb owners do. Even then though my droid allows me.to view and edit msword, excel, and pdf files for free so.....


Bottom line, free(ish) market droid has been awesome to me.
