I've read plenty of guys on NAXJA running 35's with a 29sline 8.25 i guess it would depend on your luck and how hard you are on it, but since it's there...use it, just get regeared

the 8.25 i have now saw 35's on 27 spline alloy shafts for like three years of heavy wheeling, nothing ever broke. i now wheel it on 33's pretty hard and i dont even worry about anything breaking..
putting a 44 with alloy shafts in within the next week though99 XJ - 5.5" RE, 35's, 4.56's, d30/d44 locked, bumpers

My buddy runs a 29 spline with a brand new factory LSD and 4:56's on 35s and he is not easy one the skinny peddle! He hasnt had an issue with it either89XJ Pioneer Edition 3.5" 33s ravines 4:10s 8.8- parted but not forgotten
