33s are the way to go. I had 32s on my jeep and they where good. There is a power loss but its something you deal with and regear.

yeah, you will be fine with 31s but you will want to go to 33s in 6 months.

true dat. I just went straight to 33's, that way i could have no regrets. and I didn't. I just stepped up to 36's to run tires bigger than Will and Fred were running at the time.

If you dont want to trim alot but a little does not bother you go 32's. My friend has 32s on an RE 3.5" lift with some trimming and it fits great. Trim a little more and 33s will fit fine. But then your gonna want to regear, 32s its a little sluggish on the hwy but its not bad IMHO, i ran 35s on stock gears for 2 years before re gearing.

31s will be fine for beginning off roading. Justin on here has 31s 4" of lift and front and rear lockers and goes any where but un locked it will be more challenging and larger obstacles will be harder but for weekend warrior wheeling you shouldbe fine.

              Go 32's, I think you'll regret getting the 31's

I rolled 31s for 2 years with no regrets. I didn't plan on going to 33s until money I had saved up for something went south. So I used the money on 33s and gears.

I saw how quickly drew went from running 31's to wanting 33's so i just went with 33's from the start.

IMO there is absolutely no reason to not trim your fenders. If you take your time it will turn out looking great. As far as tire size 32/33 its your call. But i personally would never buy a lift to put 31" tires on. Just seems like a waste of money to me.
