i use a 230 VAC millermatic 212. it can run 160 amps at 60% duty cycle.

Its not mine but its amazing to use and can weld up to 1/2 i believe, never tried to weld anything that thick. its at my old high school, but my old shop teacher lets me use it whenever i want and for watever. one time he gave me the key and let me go in on a sunday
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I had a lincoln 110 unit and it worked great up until it broke. Unsure of cause but now that I have the millermatic 250 it would be tough going back to anything else. Awesome machine especially for 600 bucks used. x a meelion

which lincoln do you have?? just out of curiousity. i love using the miller but want something at my house and runs off a 110 but can be solid and reliable. i like the hobart and its not a bad price from where sam said, i also noticed home depot has the lincolns even though i hate home depot and their epic amounts of fail
