  • Fucked something up

so today i did some wheelin with some friends, including Zach, and messed something up in my steering. I think. So, the steering wheel has crazy vibes that shakes the entire body between 20 and 45 mph. But the tires are running normal w/o any vibes. I checked everything in the steering and didnt notice anything. nothing loose or noticeable. I checked the steering column and it has alot of play. when i shake it the steering wheel does move as it would when i drive. any ideas??? oh and can some post what a stock drag link looks like? is there a bend at the left end? (looking head on)

sorry for so many posts in the tech section but doing alot to my heep. Starting to feel like jeepinjosh

          that looks fine to me

have a friend, brother, lawn ornament, etc sit in the front seat and jiggle the wheel back and forth while you check out the front end

make sure there is ZERO play in every component

you may have bent somethign ever so slightly to make your front tires point inward

                  this relation is toe

excessive toe in will cause the front tires to want to push into eachother resulting in either increased tire wear, the badness you are experiencing, or both.

                  but when you say vibes

like a driveline vibe? or a wobble?

the tires do not wobble at all just the steering
