a steering box brace is a smart idea for 33's

they are cheap and they will prevent your frame from tearing to shit. i have seen a few cracked on 33's

after this weekend my front frame has about an inch+ of throw between the trackbar and steering box

I think you need to figure out what you want to upgrade first. Do you want to stiffen your steering box? If so, the brace is a very good idea. YJ steering boxes have been known to crack or break the frame. Are you looking for an upgraded tie rod so it wont bend? Get a one ton tie rod and drag link. You wont be disapointed with how much stiffer it is than a stock one. Are you looking to be able to turn your tires when your on the rocks? Get a hydro assist kit or ram, lines, brackets etc and tap your steering box. You'd also want to do the one ton so you dont bend the tiny Dana 30 tie rod. That will also help reduce the stress on the frame.

I think Will was saying there was an internal mod that only some durango's require you to do, other than that it's a good mod. Either that or a YJ box, but on 33's you really shouldn't need it anyways.

Never felt i needed assistance with my 33's. the countless number of times i bent the steering though is something to take into account. I would do one ton steering OTK and be done. MAYBE frame bracing if you are going to actually wheel this thing hard.

I destroyed my frame on 33's. If you wheel it, it will break. Brace it up. Personally wouldn't spend money on inverted t setup. Just sleeve your tie rod with some poopee pipe. Served me well and cost nothing.

YJ steering box > Durango steering box

,but I don't think that is a neccessary upgrade. I ran 37s with the stock box for over 2 years.

I'm sure that can't hurt... but I can't think of anyone in our club that runs one. See advice below.
