Like I said I have no prob with the power I have a impact that makes around 1200ft/lbs and I have a 24" breaker and a 36" pole and I bench over 550lbs and weight over 330lbs! SO power is not the problem it is getting something to lock on the nut I hammered a socket two sizes to small on one and still it spun but didn't brake.

if ya dont need to re use em, grind em as flat as you can with a die grinder or angle grinder and get a monkey wrench on em, that what we did to my friends....

Stuck bolts bother me. I can't sleep if I know there is one waiting for me. My friend has an old bb 460 that we were taking apart and the alternator bolt was stuck. I had to stand on the engine stand while he used a breaker bar with a pipe on it to get it loose.

But we used sched. 40 pipe and it shattered and killed everyone in the room including myself. I am now posting from beyond the grave.

I perfer craftsmen just because i've used a socket wrench as a hammer before and an extension as a pry bar. I don't think I can do that to a snap on and look at myself in the mirror the next morning
I don't always drink orange juice, but when I do, I prefer to chew it. #madpulp

i thought the same way. but i still bought snapon mac and matco and used them the way you described. all the tool dealers hate me because i am always breaking tools. i am a technician and started out using only craftsmen but they were breaking all the time. in the end it ended up costing me more money driving back and forth to sears everyday to exchange tools. craftmen tools are good if your only using them every once and a while but for full time use you cant beat snapon and matco.

next time you see a snap on or matco truck at a gas station stop in and talk to the tool guy. They will sell them to you
