lug centric correct but the lugs will bend a little and the wheel will average out across all the holes.
Unless you're way off you should be fine. Almost every car has a bent wheel unless it is crazy they don't notice. You will need to be pretty far off for big jeep tires to notice. Especially if it is bead/equal balanced. I guaranty the first time out wheeling you wheels will be bent more than you will be off by drilling them yourself like I did.
I made a drill guide then worked my way up to the correct size for the studs.
The hardest part like I said is finding correct rotors to be tight on the center. I machined mine out to fit perfect. You might need to machine a 5x5.5 rotor to fit perfect on your axles then you can also use that 5x5.5 rotor as a template to machine any rotor to 5x5.5
Why not just go with the spacers if you are so worried.
