Driver side c clip doesn't come out until the other half of the locker is removed from the axle.

Did you spin the center pieces in the carrier to line up the flats?
The pieces are larger than the carrier opening and have flat spots top and bottom to fit through.
Sometimes the opening is not even also, and one side is more open than the other.Dan.
