Notice i made this thread asking a question which just so happens to include "Could this be because i only have one upper in? if it comes down to it, im going to have to buy two new uppers because i don't wanna have to fab up another one and have two diff uppers"
Wait so with a stock pitman arm you can't steer when you stop, hit a bump, or go over anything less then a aircraft runway? And WITH the pitman arm you can't go over 35? This is better for you how? Both suck. Whats your caster angle?

Just so its clear for the umpteenth time, this means install the arm. on both sides. Both need an arm. The arm goes from the lower arm to the axle. On both sides. Both of them. 2 arms total. One passenger and one driver.

You're running a radius arm on one side and a straight link on the other? This is just....no....you can't do this. Is this the side with the bent coil too? How about the busted shock? If so....thats why everything is bent / broken. I have a blown front shock but my Jeep tracks, drives, goes 85mph, PERFECTLY because I'm not running a semi radius bent coil set up. Stop hacking shit together, I can't believe you were driving without a top link for that long. Forget the track bar. You have other shit to fix first.
and yes, you can do this. when done right!
same as a radius arm set up, but without the binding.

BUT YOU NEED TO HAVE SOLID JOINTS ON THE UPPER! NOT FUCKING RUBBER! AT LEAST A 9/16" BOLT. AND NOT THE FUCKING STOCK UPPER CONTROL ARM MOUNT ON THE AXLE!!!!

so you spent the time to cut off the factory upper mount on the axle, put a johnnyjoint tower on? but couldnt make another arm to bolt up?

You don't think that would cause it to wonder? Caster would keep it tracking straight. You talking tow in or out?

could be the caster, but im fairly certain he had a thread on that before.

when towed in, i like to call it a darty feeling... going down a highway if you not going strait with your wheels both at the same angles your going to steer one way or the other ...
