Assuming your wheel bearings and ball joints are good, can't you use a level/angle finder on the wms? Shouldn't they be perfectly parallel when the wheels are straight? This has worked for me in the past.

Wouldnt it be easier/more accurate to put it on an alignment rack and see if you have tons of - camber in back. You shouldnt have hardly any on a new one. If its bent then you will have alot.
I mean I guess this factors in other variables since it reads from the wheels but it should be a good indicator.
