In the next month or so when the bank roll permits I am planning on doing an Aussie up front and more than likely the axel u joints too. Im curious if anyone that has done one or has knowledge about the process wanted to come by and assist. I don't have any kind of date or timeline yet, but I am in Milford with a heated garage and some kind of IPA on tap.

Aussie's are easy as hell. Just make sure you have a good torque wrench, plastic/rubber/wood hammer of some sort, and red thread locker handy.Jeeps don't get stuck ... they just take a nap when they are tired of being awesome

Nope, just have a decent punch, D30s usually have a roll pin holding the cross pin for the diff in place. Also have wheel bearing grease on hand, and a GOOD small flathead screw driver. Other then that just follow the directions, Ive done more then a few of these and they arent a prob and with stock gears the pin should slide right out from the carrier without pulling the ring gear. At the very most you may have to give the end of a tooth a tiny blip to let it slide out.98 Cherokee, D30/8.25 w/4.56s locked F/R -- 3 link front IRO springs rear with shackle relocation, one ton steering w/heims, hybrid cage under contruction, 33'' KM2's

You should buy a feeler gauge and take a few measurements with that. They are like $3 from autozone. Pretty sure other than that, the 3 I listed earlier, and basic tools and such is all you need.Jeeps don't get stuck ... they just take a nap when they are tired of being awesome
