Another Gear Ratio question

On my Cherokee 4.56 and 33s were awesome. 35s are still good. Go 4.56

No. Still though if you plan on going with 35s do it right the first time

Tim, the final gear ratios in a NV3550(what you have) and the AW4(what most of us in XJs have) is pretty damn close
4th gear on a AW4 is .75
5th gear on a NV3550 is .78


I was debating 4.10 and 4.56 when I regeared(i had a manual trans XJ then) and I went with 4.56 and loved it, it was nice and low but I could still do 70-75 on the highway with no problem.

But also if you dont plan on wheeling a lot of rocky trails, and sticking with 33s and your axle already has 4.10s Id stick with the 4.10s due to cost.
