also, did you get any overspray on the shit in the garage? did you make any sort of ventilation system for when you were spraying?
Make sure you cover the floor well, its all pink now, other than that nothing really got any overspray on it. I just opened both the garage doors and put a few big blowers in the doorway.
You dont want too many doors open though or you will get dust all over.01 XJ 3" on 33's and some new paint n stuff. Gone.

A paintjob would be one thing i'd actually pay alot for. I can see why they charge as much as they do.
I spent maybe ~20 hours doing mine to get a halfway decent result and I could have spent double that easily if I wanted everything to be immaculate. I skipped over doing the doorsills and stuff and I wet sanded before the final coat but you are supposed to between like every coat and I didnt bother buffing it or color sanding it or anything. I mean it looks pretty decent but if I was painting somebody elses car I could have taken over a week.
I have a friend of a friend who painted cars and he said that it still takes a shop like 2-3 workdays easy on doing a whole car.Last edited by iant333; 07-10-2010, 08:43 PM.01 XJ 3" on 33's and some new paint n stuff. Gone.
