Getting close.... i ordered the wrong break pads

whats left to do b4 OERII?
      - break job
      - new diff cover (trim it up) and lube
      - take off 2" body lift (bolts are all loose, just waiting for it to be off jackstands)
      - put on sliders
      - put on anti-rock
      - new rear shocks
      - weld up new muffler to cat

I should have everything but the muffler and shocks done by this weekend.....

oh while this is going on i blew both fork seals on my motorcycle

and seized my rear carrier on my quad this weekend... so i have a lot of shit to fix

cool. i would double check all those welds and go over them because they are essentially part of the frame now as im sure you know.

i was hesitant on doing another pass because on my frame sliders were i did 2 passes the heat weekend the frame (because its rather thin a shity) caused the frame to rip (the spot i didnt go over didnt rip).

so im not sure if i should leave them or go over them again

i know a few people that have there jeep frames notched like that (with just c-channel) with no additional bracing and it seems to hold up for them. ill see how it goes and brace it down the road if i think i need it

body mounts are giving me problems.... ugh

snapped 2. cut a window in the tub to get it out now the botom part of the bolt is frozen the the poly spacer.. ugh i have 2 more like that.

fuck you previous owner who put these on without anti-seize

i had to change the location of the exhaust hanger on the cat. cut the old one off to find that it was hallow and went into the cat. so i welded up the hole. just got to get soem small round stock for a new hanger and that will be done

took the body lift off today. it was so nice driving it to a garage and working on it in there instead of my driveway! today was all about cutting windows on the inside of the tub to remove broken body mount bolts, cutting out snapped bolts and taking off my radiator.

i got my sliders mocked up, going to drill tomorrow.

as she sits 4.5" springs no bl and 36" iroks

                                thanks man

and yeah i need tube fenders bad. now that i have a welder im leaning towards the BTW "builders" tube fenders. you just get a box of tube and plate. and getting a btf grille hoop and welding the fenders to that. this is the easy way seeign a dont have a bender.

but if my friend can free up some of his shop time im going to make a custom set that runs from in the cab tied into the cage A-piller all the way to a grille hoop, then run a flair like the PSC ones.
