Im swapping my engine due to low compression and overheating issues (head gasket i assume and i got a deal on a newer engine). Also a newer transmission cuz well i killed that in the rockies. But my timing blew because a cold front blasted us the night i started ripping into it and got to work on it in 4" of snow on saturday while it was still snowing and another 2" sunday.

Warmed up to about 30 today and the engine and trans are in and everything is almost copacetic. Just gotta swap my sye to my newish transfer case (probably in my room haha) and then put the driveline back together and bam i can wheel utah again.

hey man no rush, but if you get a chance ever could you get a couple good shots of how your rear shocks are mounted through the floor... its something I need to do but want to see how you did it before I go wing mine.

SHE LIVES!!! Started her today with very little trouble(all the way forward on the tranny is first not park doh).

I then proceeded to shock myself by hitting the ignition coil wire which if you have never done i strongly advise against like being tackled and i felt 3 pulses go through me and my heart actually hurt for a half hour.

I welded up my exhaust tonite and will be installing that tomorrow and swapping my sye over to my newer np231 and then ill button everything up and have here driving saturday or sunday. Stoked

hahaha I zapped myself with the coil wire once. I went to push it down to make sure it was tight on the distro. Certainly unpleasant.

Im not mounting my shocks through the floor. I like being able to hold cargo and such, but my favorite thing about having a stock nice interior is i can fold the rear seat down, blow up my air mattress, and not have to fuck with setting up a tent, freezing my ass off, ect.

So my exhaust needs to get reworked a tad but the jeep should be driving tomorrow.

Drove her. Runs great. Will need to do the rear main seal sometime Next upgrade is 98 dual diaphragm brake booster with matching master cylinder.
